All Careers Advisers working for Career North are highly experienced and professionally qualified in Careers Guidance. Career Conversations with pupils are impartial, confidential and pupils will receive a detailed action plan to support them with their career planning, please ask to see it!
We welcome the opportunity to meet with parents/carers and will be attending Parents Events throughout the year, additionally appointments can be arranged to see the Careers Adviser in school through Mrs Haigh, Careers Coordinator.

Jayne has worked passionately with young people of all ages for the last 22 years to bring about change and fuel their inspiration, motivation and increase their aspirations. Jayne provides high quality education consultancy, coaching and training and is committed to excellence in Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance. She is a published author, national and regional trainer and a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming.
Holly Jones, Careers Adviser
Holly is a qualified Careers Guidance Practitioner and Secondary English Teacher. Over the past ten years Holly has helped individuals to make key career decisions at every step from choosing year 9 ‘GCSE options’ to applying for further education , apprenticeship and university places, supporting and encouraging students both pastorally and academically. Holly is approachable, passionate and committed to making sure that students are given the guidance and advice they need to make informed decisions about their future.
Jane Pearson, Careers Adviser,
Jane is a qualified and experienced Careers Guidance Practitioner and Achievement Coach at a local Further Education College. Over the past 16 years Jane has supported, inspired and enabled young people with their career choices and next steps, including high achievers pursuing academic routes post 16/18 and vulnerable students who are re-engaging in learning. Jane’s depth of knowledge, enthusiasm and approachable nature ensures she is able to inspire students and support them to make the right choices.
