Teacher of History

We wish to appoint a talented, dedicated and enthusiastic teacher of History in this 11 – 18 mixed comprehensive school, located since 2004 in a new £16 million building. The ability to teach KS5 would be advantageous. The post is part-time of 0.8 and is temporary to cover maternity leave; it would be suitable for experienced teachers or NQTs.

Cleaner x 2

  • Permanent, part time contracts
  • 15 hours per week, term time plus 4 weeks
  • Grade Foundation Living Wage £16,882 pro-rata

 

The Governors wish to appoint two part time cleaners, who, under the direction of the Site Supervisor, will undertake the cleaning of designated areas within the school premises to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition, to the agreed quality standards.

Required hours of work are: 3.30pm to 6.30pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during term time and 2.30pm – 5.30pm Tuesday. The contracts are for term time, plus four weeks during the school holidays, as directed by the Site Supervisor.

Welfare Assistant

  • Permanent, part time contract
  • 7.5 hours per week, term time only
  • Grade Foundation Living Wage £16,882 pro-rata

 

The Governors wish to appoint a part time welfare assistant, who, under the direction of the Senior Midday Supervisor, will secure the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the lunch break period. The post holder will also undertake the cleaning of designated areas of the dining hall, to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition and to the agreed quality standards.

Required hours of work are: Monday, Wednesday - Friday: 1.15pm-2.45pm and Tuesday: 12.30pm-2.00pm. The post is term time only.
